Event Description
Customer reported video images on patient samples were blurry and out of focus.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
Customer reported video images on patient samples were blurry and out of focus, causing false negative rbcs on patient samples.There were no reports of change to patient management.An iris field service engineer (fse) found the cause of fuzzy images and light fluctuation to be from the faulty camera.Fse replaced the camera and made adjustments to the light level on the video image.All controls and calibrations passed.System was operational.
