It was reported that the patient presented with cauda equina syndrome, radiculopathy, extremity pain and diminished reflex.The patient was diagnosed with spondylolisthesis, stenosis, back pain and degenerative disc disease.The patient underwent a posterior lumbar surgery consisting of fusion, artificial disc replacement, discectomy and laminotomy (with greater than 50% facetectomy).Autologous local bone, rhbmp-2/acs and posterior static instrumentation- pedicle screw/rod and cage were used in the surgery.X-ray verification of levels was done.The patient was placed in neurologic monitoring.This procedure was a revision of a prior spine surgery.The patient was discharged.The patient developed urinary retention post-op.
