This report is based solely on device analysis.No information to suggest a device related adverse event or product problem was received.If additional relevant information is received, a supplemental report will be submitted.Product event summary: it was noted that the device shut down during testing and caused a system crash.The device was then powered on at the bench and an error occurred.When the device was opened it was noted that the display wires to the main printed circuit board (pcb) were shorted.The display wires were rerouted and the main pcb was realigned however it was noted that the results failed due to the error caused by the exposed display wires.Analysis also found that one encoder nut was loose.All found defective parts were replaced and all other identified issues were resolved.(b)(4).

The external pulse generator was returned in accordance with instructions affiliated with the current corrective field action and subsequently tested out of specification during manufacturer's analysis.There was no patient involvement.
