Event Description
It was reported on 03/14/2016 that this patient had a very bad seizure while coming out of sedation from her replacement surgery on (b)(6) 2016.More information was obtained which states that the patient's seizure lasted about 5 minutes and was tonic clonic.The surgeon believed it may have been caused by awaking from anesthesia.The vns was programmed to prior settings before this seizure.The diagnostics were confirmed to be within normal limits.It was also stated that this is a normal event for patient when exposed to anesthesia.
