Event Description
|
A healthcare professional reported that during calibration/setup of the system, upon placing the cassette, the screen turned white and the system froze.The case was initiated and completed as planned using an alternate system.There was no patient involvement.Additional information has been requested and received.

The system was examined and the reported event(s) were not replicated.The random access memory (ram) was replaced as a preventive measure.The system was tested and found to meet product specifications.A review of the customer¿s complaint history for the last 24 months did not show any previous complaints of this kind against the system.Based on qa assessment, the product met specifications at the time of release.Ram was received for evaluation.A visual assessment of the returned sample revealed no obvious nonconformity.The ram was installed into a calibrated c system for functional testing.The system was found to meet relevant specifications the system was found to meet specification.Therefore, the root cause of the reported system issues cannot be determined conclusively.(b)(4).
