(b)(4).The covidien technical support engineer (tse) recommended the customer replace the gui keypad.Multiple follow up attempts have been made by covidien to contact the customer for additional information with no success.
 
Event Description
It was reported that while on a patient an 840 ventilator generated a graphic user interface (gui) key stuck alert.It is unknown if the patient was transferred to another ventilator or any adverse event (if applicable) with the patient.
