Event Description
It was reported by the physician that he did not program the patient's vns on because the patient's neck incision was a "little puffy"; and he wanted to wait.The physician stated he did not believed there was an infection, but he was being extra cautious.Review of the device history record for both the lead and the generator confirmed sterilization prior to distribution.Attempts for additional relevant information have been unsuccessful to date.
 
Event Description
It was later reported the physician saw the patient again.The physician noted the incision site looked good and there were zero side effects.The puffiness the patient had has now resolved.
