Event Description
It was reported that the impactor threaded tip broke off of the impactor in the stem while impacting the stem into the femoral canal.Surgeon was able to remove the tip from the stem and used the backup impactor to successfully complete the procedure.As reported no pieces were left in the patient nor was patient affected in other way.
