Dexcom was made aware on (b)(4) 2017 that on (b)(6) 2017, the receiver had no display except the backlight.No additional event or patient information is available.The complaint device was returned for evaluation.The device was visually inspected and no defect was found.Functional and drop testing was performed and there was no failure detected related to the complaint.The receiver log was reviewed and firmware errors and screen error alerts were observed.The reported event of no receiver display except backlight was confirmed during log review.The root cause of no receiver display except backlight could not be determined due to receiver firmware error, error icon displayed.Based on the investigation results this issue has been upgraded from non-reportable to reportable.
