A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.The hardware, software, and instruments passed the system checkout.The system was found to be fully functional.The reported issue could not be recreated, however, per additional information received, there may have been something in the line of site of the system that interfered.No parts required replacement or were returned to the manufacturer for evaluation.
 
Event Description
A site representative reported that while in a t3-l4 spinal fusion procedure the navigation system was not able to see the trackers from the imaging system.It was possible to see the patient reference frame, but not the trackers.The site tried the left and right side trackers without resolve.A different ethernet cable was used without resolve.The site tried covering some of the trackers on the imaging system without resolve.There was a reported delay to the procedure of 1 or more hours as a result of this issue.No additional information was provided.
