Information was received from a consumer and a manufacturer representative regarding a patient who was implanted with a neurostimulator for spinal pain and failed back surgery syndrome.It was reported that the patient had an mri on (b)(6) 2018 and since, has said that it feels like her unit is kind of like shocking her a little bit.It is a tinge, but it is in different places at different times.Right now, it is kind of like on the side it is supposed to be on, kind of on her panty line.The night prior to the report, the patient could not get comfortable and could not figure out where to lay on her leg or her right side because it was happening a little bit above the back of her knee.The patient keeps stimulation turned off most of the time, and it was turned off during the times that she was noticing the shocking feelings.The patient turns the stimulation on if her back is bothering her and starting to aggravate her a little.At the time of the report, the patient programmer was showing stimulation off, and the patient was on program 1, group a at 2.0 volts.The patient turned stimulation back on to see if adaptivestim was enabled.Adaptivestim was not enabled.There were no further complications reported.
