Analysis was approved for a generator replaced for prophylactic reasons. An automated electrical test was performed which indicated that the generator did not meet the specifications for the backup capacitor-to-can measurements. It was confirmed via other tests that the negative feed-thru capacitor was electrically open. The most probable cause for the generator not meeting specifications was identified to be an open capacitor. With the exception of the noted condition, there were no additional performance or any other type of adverse conditions found with the pulse generator. No additional relevant information has been received to date.
