Event Description
A physician reported that the normal mode and magnet mode output currents had been unexpectedly reset to zero for a patient's device. The physician did not know whether the generator had intentionally been programmed off by another physician or whether another external may have resulted in the device disablement. It was possible that the device may have reached normal end-of-service and could no longer supply stimulation as expected; however, the manufacturer's battery life calculation estimated 3 years life remaining until the generator was expected to reach near end of service. No additional relevant information has been received to date.
