(b)(4).The service technician traced the ground wire to the power module and found burnt traces.The service technician will replace the power module to address the reported issue.
 
Event Description
It was reported to vyaire medical that the service technician had performed a routine 7 year preventative maintenance on the ventilator and calibrations.The service technician stated that everything seemed fine.As he restarted the ventilator to finish calibrations, the ground wire seemed to be smoking and he was unable to go any further.
