Event Description
It was initially reported by the patient that she would like the vns explanted as it had not helped her much.Follow up with the physician's office revealed that it was believed that the patient did experience some benefit from the vns.However, it was reported that the patient experienced a worsening of seizures, per the physician's recollection, that was associated with the vns battery depleting.The physician indicated that his records did not contain any specific mention of the vns readings.No relevant surgery is known to have occurred to date.No additional relevant information has been received to date.
