Allegedly, in an article written by lachman et al titled "outcomes of acute hematogenous periprosthetic joint infection in tar" it was reported that a patient underwent an infinity tar revision due to candida albicans infection.During the revision, the original hardware was removed and converted to tibiotalar arthrodesis with cement spacer.
