It was initially reported that the patient experienced uncontrollable happiness and smiling that was believed to be related to titration of the device.Diagnostics were reported to be within normal limits.It was later reported that the patient was presenting with manic episodes.The physician believed that the device may be influencing neurotransmitter levels in the patient.The settings were never decreased, and have instead continued to be titrated up.It was stated that the physician did change around some medication since the report and that the change in medication seemed to help, per the physician in the room.No additional relevant information has been received to date.
