Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) via a manufacturer¿s representative (rep) regarding a patient undergoing a trial lead implant for gastrointestinal /pelvic floor therapy.It was reported the physician was unable to place lead through needle as bottom of lead was bent or snagged.There were no known environmental/external/patient factors that may have led or contributed to the issue.A new lead was opened, and used, and procedure was completed and the issue was resolved.No symptoms were reported and the patient was alive, with no injury.No further complications were reported or are anticipated.
