Event Description
During a endovascular coiling case an error popped up on the siemens artis q ipp 9 screen stating a plan tube overheating. We discovered our mechanical room was at 102 degrees fahrenheit.Plant ops was contacted to find the cause of the overheating issue. After a nearly 45 minute delay in procedure, clinical imaging discovered that all ir rooms were affected. The cause was due to a failure in the cooling system responsible for cooling the c-arms equipment rooms.I was informed by plant operations that they are running their backup process to cool the rooms. This has worked and procedures were continued.
