Event Description
|
Information was received from a consumer, via a manufacturing representative (rep), regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for dystonia and movement disorders.It was reported the patient didn't maintain their charging during a recent pregnancy because their dystonia symptoms went away.Patient now has had a return of dystonia symptoms, and their ins was in over discharge.It was noted that it had been over sixty days since last system use.Rep was going to meet with the patient today to address the over discharge.Reviewed troubleshooting steps to clear over discharge.No further complications were reported or anticipated with this event.

Additional information was received stating there was a power on reset (por) error message when resolving the overdischarge.It was noted that it cleared once the patient began to charge their device.The device issue and patient symptoms were resolved.No further complications were reported or anticipated with this event.
