|
Information was received from a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for the treatment of gastric stimulation.The patient first inquired about how much batter was left in their ins.They were redirected to a healthcare professional (hcp) to get a better estimate.The patient then stated that the last 2 days they felt like about 3 inches below the stimulator, around their mid stomach area, they noticed ¿electrical charges¿ going to that part of their stomach.No further patient complications were reported as a result of this event.

Additional information received from a consumer (con).It was reported that active work and straining were factors in the electrical charges in the stomach.The charges quit on their own and the issue was noted to be resolved.
