The customer complained that the frame of patient support for stitching bent after installation of a brake cylinder.There was no patient involvement.

Int.Ref.9613607 correction: e1: initial reporter the digitaldiagnost is a direct digital radiography system with flat detector technology based on modular components to allow for customization for all radiographic applications and workload requirements.The patient support for stitching is an accessory that allows the examination of full leg or full spine with the patient standing upright.For easy use, the patient support for stitching has wheels and a folding footboard.The footboard is connected to the frame via two hinges and a break cylinder and has to be folded up and fixed by a hook (plastic clip) for transportation, e.G.From one room to another.Contrary to the original information, the complaint did not originate from the customer, but was identified and addressed by philips field service engineer and represents only an improvement request.This kind of issue can only occur during improper use.No correction necessary.The device continues to fulfill its intended use.Risk estimation revealed no unacceptable risk.The issue is further monitored and trended.The event was originally reported to the authorities as not enough information was available to make a definite reportability decision.Since that time, additional information was received which revealed that the event does not meet the criteria for reporting.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
