Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for gastric stimulation.It was reported that the patient had been really sick and in and out of the hospital since implant.The patient had gastroparesis, and with that had constant nausea, vomiting, and stomach pain since implant, and the symptoms had gotten worse in the past couple of months.It was noted that this was a gradual change in therapy/symptoms.The patient was redirected to follow up with a healthcare professional (hcp) regarding their symptoms; however, the patient noted that their current hcp was too far for them to travel.No further complications were reported/anticipated.
