Philips has investigated this complaint.Once fluoroscopy became unavailable, the operator paused the case to bring in a mobile x-ray system.There was a delay of approximately 10 minutes while the patient was under general anesthesia.Philips performed trouble shooting of the system on site and determined that the flat detector was defective.The flat detector was replaced after which the system was returned to use in good working order.Based on trending analysis there is no negative trend with the replacement rate for the flat detector.Consequently, philips has closed this complaint.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
