Event Description
It was reported that physician attempted to implant an advance xp sling.The sheath of one of the two arms tore in the patient and the physician was unable to retrieve the broken sheath.Additional information was received that there was a "rupture of the plastic sheath and white paper of the "slight arm" of the sling, when removing these protections." also, added that the left arm was 5 cm shorter.It was further explained that "given the surgical technique, no possibility to recover the missing part and "there were no consequences on the positioning of the urethral strip.".
