Information was received from consumer regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neuro stimulator (ins) for urinary dysfunction/sacral nerve stim and gastrointestinal/pelvic floor patient reported that she just had the implant for the ins but it is getting worse and has been sick for over a week and that her sickness symptoms included: stomach, bladder, urgency so strong, and been really weak, pressure have to go, lips are purple in color, not herself for last week, others have noticed, and blood pressure not as good.Caller said she was at 1.0 volts today and she lowered it to.9 volts.During the call, it was determined that the patient had their patient programmer and stimulation was on and patient kept saying she had pressure so pat agent helped patient lower the stimulation to 0.7volts.Patient further reported that they thought they might have a bad infection that could be causing the pressure.Patient was advised to follow up on her symptoms with their health care professional.
