Event Description
The patient presented with chest pains 40 days after the orbital atherectomy device was used to treat the patient, and was admitted to the hospital overnight for observation.Nitroglycerin was administered to resolve the pains, and the patient stated they felt generalized weakness.The patient was prescribed additional pharmacological therapy to manage the angina after discharge.Per the opinion of the physician, the ae is possibly related to the oa device because the patient had st changes in the territory that was intervened upon and had nstemi within 6 weeks of the intervention.
