Event Description
On dec 30th, 2019 senseonics was made aware of an event where the sensor broke into two (2) pieces during the removal procedure.Only one piece of sensor were removed during the initial removal procedure.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
User has not responded to multiple phone calls, messages and letters from texas diabetes and endocrinology.The practice has no plans to remove the sensor because the patient has refused to schedule a follow up appointment.No further investigation was found necessary for this complaint.
