Event or Problem Description
On (b)(6) 2020, the reporter contacted animas alleging a power (damage) issue.It was reported that the pump had no power and the battery compartment was cracked.The threads of the battery cap were also reported stripped.There was no indication that the product caused or contributed to an adverse event.This complaint is being reported because the user may be unaware that the pump has lost power, leading to under delivery.
