Event Description
It was reported by the patient that their cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) was malfunctioning.The patient reported that their heart rate was irregular and they can "feel it pumping".The patient further reported that they can feel "a little twinging in the night" and their device is "moving" their chest and abdomen.The patient was feeling panicked as a result.The patient was referred to their physician and the crt-p remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.

It was further reported by the clinician that there was no malfunction of the device and reprogramming was performed as a result of the event.
