Information was received from a foreign healthcare professional (hcp) via a manufacturer representative regarding a patient receiving intrathecal morphine 20 mg/ml at 7 mg/day via an implantable pump.It was reported that a ¿motor stall due to battery depletion (presumption)¿ occurred.Diagnostics/troubleshooting included pump interrogation.The pump was replaced.It was unknown if the issue was resolved.However, the patient's status was alive - no injury.It was unknown if any environmental, external or patient factors might have led or contributed to the event.The customer was notified that the pump should be returned, but the return status was unable to be determined.The implant date was unknown.Information regarding the patient¿s age, weight, medical history, and other medications was unavailable.
