Event or Problem Description
The patient's attorney alleged a deficiency against the device.The product was used for therapeutic treatment of a hernia.It was reported that after implant, the patient experienced severe pain, adhesions, incarcerated hernia, serosal defects, dilated loops of bowel, and unincorporated mesh.Post-operative treatment included revision surgery, serosal defects repaired, decompressed bowel distally, lysis of adhesions, hernia repair with new mesh, excision of hernia sac, and mesh removal.
