It was reported that this cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) and a non boston scientific right atrial (ra) lead exhibited a history of noise, oversensing, inappropriate atrial tachy response (atr) episodes, and a lead safety switch (lss) due to out of range impedance measurements. The device had been reprogrammed at the time of the lss.More frequent episodes of ra noise were being observed more recently.Boston scientific technical services (ts) discussed troubleshooting and programming options with the health care professional (hcp). The device remains in service. No adverse patient effects were reported.
