Event or Problem Description
Information received by medtronic indicated that the insulin pump was not working and not turning on.Customer stated that the insulin pump was exposed to moisture.The display went blank after exposure to moisture.Customer stated that the insulin pump had constant tone.No harm requiring medical intervention was reported.The insulin pump will be returned for analysis.
Additional Manufacturer Narrative
Device received with blank display due to moisture damage at electronic assembly.Also, moisture damage motor during visual inspection.Unable to perform operating currents, self test, rewind test and displacement test.
