H.6.Investigation summary the investigation was performed and based on the review of the complaint trend, defect trend, dhr, risk analysis, and servicemax the root cause of the of the waste leak was due to a faulty waste line tubing, 660049 - pump tubing 12vdc 35rpm 1.4-18ml/min.This issue was confirmed by the fse (field service engineer) before he performed the replacement and repair.A clogged or cracked waste line will not allow the pump to fully aspirate and vacuum the sample waste, therefore resulting in drips from the needle or sip.The issue of the leak was resolved as there was no further response and the work order was closed.Although the leak was waste and potential exposure to biohazard material, there was no skin contact nor was there any medical treatment performed. No user was harmed or injured. After the repair, the instrument was tested and functioning as expected. The safety risk is low because there was no impact to customer health or safety.H3 other text : see h.10.
