Event or Problem Description
|
|
Information was received by a manufacturer representative (rep) regarding a trial patient with a wireless external neurostimulator ( wens). It was reported that after the first lead was inserted into the wens and impedances were checked, it was good and coverage was over the proper area. When the second lead was inserted, both leads showed impedances above 40k on the majority of electrodes. The leads and wens were wiped and there were still impedances so a new wens was used. The wens showed the same impedances. The original wens was used and the leads entrance and track was re-introduced and the impedance issue was resolved.
