Event Description
The customer reported unit has noise and the orange (light emitting diode) led of the power switch part flickered.The unit was in clinical use at the time the reported issue was discovered; however, there was no harm to the patient or the user.

G4:23nov2020; b4:24nov2020.The manufacturer¿s international service technician confirmed the reported issue.It was also observed that the orange (light emitting diode)led of the power switch part flickered.The manufacturer¿s international service technician stated the vibration dampening ring was repositioned and replaced the power switch overlay to address the reported problem.The unit successfully passed the required performance verification test.Based on information provided and/or service performed, the customers alleged malfunction was confirmed.The device was not being used for treatment when the reported event occurred.No parts were returned for failure investigation; therefore, the root cause at the component level could not be determined.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
