Event Description
It was reported that shaft break occurred.The target lesion was located in a vessel in the leg.A 2.50mm x 30mm emerge balloon catheter was advanced for dilation.However, it was noted that the shaft broke approximately 135 cm from the hub.The device was removed through surgery and the procedure completed.No patient complications were reported and the patient's status was stable.
