Event Description
Patient reported yesterday (b)(6) 2020: she put on her pants that the material was leopard skin metallic (for a halloween costume) and she instantly was getting "shocky" sensations from stim so she turned stim down and finally turned it off.She described it as "hyperstimulation".She stated she came home and took the pants off but since then she is still feeling that sensation when she turns stimulation on.It was suggested she have her implantable neurostimulator (ins) checked by her healthcare provider (hcp). The patient stated that she is allergic to nickel but isn't sure why she would be getting this sensation now after everything was working so well for her.She just saw her hcp for an issue with her hip that she stated unrelated to the pain stim device.
