(b)(4).Unit received with blank display due to moisture damaged electronic assembly.Also moisture damage motor during visual inspection.Unable to perform operating current test, unexpected restart error test or all functional testing including the displacement, rewind, basic occlusion, occlusion, prime and excessive no delivery test or verify no delivery, low reservoir, low battery alarms due to blank display.Currently it is unknown whether or not the device may have caused or contributed to the event as no product has been returned.No conclusion can be drawn at this time.We therefore consider this report complete to the best of our knowledge.
Event or Problem Description
Information received by medtronic indicated that the insulin pump had no delivery alarm and batteries were not lasting long sometimes.Customer reported that the reservoir said that it was empty and it was not.No harm requiring medical intervention was reported.The insulin pump will not be returned for analysis.
