Additional Manufacturer Narrative

The icd and the lead were not returned for analysis. The analysis is therefore only based on the returned data as well as on the inspection of the quality documents associated with the manufacture of these particular devices. The manufacturing process for the icd and the lead were re-investigated and all production steps were performed accordingly. There was no sign of any inconsistency during the manufacturing process which may be related to the clinical observation.Particularly the final acceptance test of the icd proved the device functions to be as specified. The returned follow-up reports have been analyzed. No shock delivery was recorded in the available data. The last charging cycle was started on (b)(6) 2020, during episode no.154 after a vf was detected. The episode was terminated spontaneously, and no shock was delivered. However, no iegm is available in the follow-up data for this episode. The rv-pacing impedance data was analyzed and showed an increasing trend after (b)(6) 2020.The root cause for this trend was not determinable based on the available data.Based on the information available for analysis no conclusion can be drawn regarding the root cause of the clinical observation. However, should additional relevant information become available this investigation will be updated.
