Event or Problem Description
It was reported that when tunneling from superior neck to pocket subclavicular. The plastic piece inside the tunneller that you put the electrodes into broke in half by the leads as the doctor was pulling the tunneller out, thus leaving the leads half way under the skin in the neck.A small incision was made over the leads to retrieve them and the broken plastic, then they used another tunneller and attachment to tunnel the rest of the way.The healthcare provider (hcp) did have to pull rather hard because of anatomy.Once the leads were all connected to battery everything checked out good and the hcp was very happy.
