Event Description
|
Information was received from a patient regarding an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported that the ins would not charge, the patient received but doesn't recall specific codes for software problem, the patient also received the screen no device found, and all 0's on passive recharge screen.The controller was also getting hot.The patient stated that they have reset the controller and the situation continued.The patient denied any damage on the recharge telemetry module (rtm) and controller.The rtm coil got very hot and burned their back.The issue was not resolved through troubleshooting.The equipment was not working, and the patient was in "so much pain." the patient mentioned that they were using pain medication to deal with the pain.
