Event Description
The biomed reported to philip's remote service engineer (rse) hearing a hissing noise inside the unit by the oxygen (o2) regulator.The biomed advised that staff heard noise when the unit was in the storage room.The rse reached out to senior tech who advised the oxygen regulator is defective.The rse provided part identification for oxygen regulator assembly.The device did not have patient involvement at the time the issue was discovered, therefore, there was no patient or user harm reported.The biomed replaced oxygen regulator assembly to resolve the reported issue.
