Event Description
It was reported that three days post-implant, the patient experienced a groin infection with some yellowish discharge and some redness at the incision site of introducer insertion.A chlorhexidine wash and antibiotics were prescribed.On a later checkup the site had improved but had not healed so the antibiotic therapy was extended and the infection resolved.The patient is a participant in the post approval clinical surveillance product surveillance registry.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
