Additional Manufacturer Narrative
|
|
Siemens has completed an investigation of the reported event. The root cause was determined to be a hardware error.Examination of the log files showed that the problem was a temporary problem with the digital servo electronic (dse-board).This resulted in an inconsistency between the position data stored on the hard disk and the saferdw data of the kuka robot. As this is an incorrect condition, the system blocked the motor movements and issued a corresponding error message.Such a problem requires a service intervention on site. The service technician synchronized the data of both components and the system was immediately ready for operation again.A possible general error that would require corrective measures of the installed base could not be determined by the investigation. After detailed investigation, the incident is not classified as a reportable event as neither serious injury, death nor an unexpected, prolonged hospitalization of the patient or any other person occurred or could be expected.
