The customer reported that the mx40 was dropped and damaged and the volume not working correctly.The device was not in use on a patient at the time of event.
 
Manufacturer Narrative
H10: the actual device was returned to philips where the technician was able to replicate the customer's issue.The technician confirmed the case was damaged, the audio was working, and there were no speaker malfunction messages.The volume was quiet at the highest level due to the system board damage.This is attributed to user handling and is not considered a malfunction of the device.Submission of a report does not constitute an admission that medical personnel, user facility, importer, distributor, manufacturer, or product caused or contributed to the event.
