It was reported that during rotator cuff surgery, the upper jaw of first pass suture passer was not functioning properly when the box was opened.Upper jaw was moving higher than normal.A mechanical suture passer was used as a backup and no significant delay was reported.No other complications were reported.All available information has been disclosed.If additional information should become available, a supplemental report will be submitted accordingly.
