Event Description
It was reported that a dissection occurred.A percutaneous coronary intervention was being performed on a lesion in the left main artery.After placing a stent, an nc emerge balloon was used to dilate the stent within the lesion.The balloon was inflated and it became longer than the markers, so the balloon shoulders were on the outside of the stent which caused a dissection in the left main artery.Additional intervention was required.
