It was reported that the left ventricular (lv) lead exhibited variable thresholds. It was also reported that the right ventricular (rv) lead exhibited unstable thresholds and was not reliable and might be moving. The patient was noted to have passed out during testing of the cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemaker (crt-p) feature which monitors pacing thresholds at periodic intervals. It was noted that only ventricular support paces are delivered during testing versus bi-ventricular pacing support. The feature was turned off with no further symptoms. The lv lead, rv lead and crt-p remain in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
